Author Guidelines
The journal adopts the standards of the Committee on Publication Ethics "COPE", regarding policies for integrity, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical standards. Please check Publication rules and ethics on the home page
• The research or study must be original and a new addition to knowledge, taking into account full compliance with all scientific and ethical principles in this regard.
• The number of research or study words should not exceed fifteen thousand (15000) words, not exceeding fifty (50) pages according to the format of the journal, including abstracts (Arabic and English) and references, and the number of words for articles and others should not exceed seven thousand (7000) words Within twenty (20) pages, however, the editorial board may, if necessary, make an exception from this.
• Researches, studies and other forms of submitted work are presented to the editorial board of the journal to confirm their compatibility with the precise specialization of the journal and the goals and directions that aim to achieve them in every number of its issues, and it is permissible to refuse to accept the research for publication without providing justifications.

• Reviewers: All research, studies and articles submitted for publication in the journal are subject to academic blind peer review according to the journal's policy, to ensure that the author's identity is not identified.
• The researcher shall make the amendments determined by the reviewer.
• The journal is not obligated to return the originals of submitted work that come to it, whether in the case of its publication or not.
• The researcher shall submit an abstract of the research or study in both Arabic and English, and not exceeding 250 words for each of them.
• The research published in the journal becomes its property and entitles it to be published in all forms of publication. The researcher has no right to re-publish it in another journal without written permission from the editor in chief of the journal, and after a period of no less than three years has passed.
• Submitted work duplication, or simultaneous presentation for publication: It is a condition that the research or study has not been published previously, that it is not submitted for publication in any other journal or periodical, and it is not part of a doctoral or master’s thesis or part of a book that has been previously published, and that the researcher submits a written acknowledgement of that.
• The researcher's submission of his author for publication in more than one publication period simultaneously is considered unethical and unacceptable behaviour. It is not permissible for the researcher to publish his work in another container except after three years have passed from the date of its publication in the journal, and after the written approval of the editor-in-chief, provided that the researcher refers to its first publication in the Journal of Law and Emerging Technologies.
• The opinions presented in the Journal express the viewpoint of its writer and do not express the opinion of the journal, and the works submitted should take into account the nature of the journal’s work, and not engage in political, religious, security or other matters, without the slightest criminal or civil liability on the editorial board or Faculty.
• The works to be published are submitted written on the computer, in Word format, in accordance with the formal specifications announced on the journal's website, accompanied by a profile of the researcher and a recent personal photo, and the works are submitted on the journal's website through the following link: https://jolets.org/ojs/index.php/jolets/about/submissions
• Academic honesty plagiarism: The researcher must verify the quotations and the information he has derived from scientific or academic references in his research, and it must also verify the absence of any method of academic plagiarism, whether by putting phrases or ideas of others without referencing, or the researcher attributing to himself the results of the work and effort of others. In general, scientific plagiarism in its various forms is considered unethical and unacceptable in the field of academic publishing and conflicts with the assumption of scientific integrity.
• Co-authorship of submitted work: The research must bear the names of all the people involved in authoring the work, and they are the ones who bear responsibility for the content in terms of the mentioned data, method of obtaining it, analysis and conclusions, or those who formulated the research in its first version, or whoever reviewed it critically. Verify that all authors have read and agreed to the final version of the text, and agreed to submit it for publication.
